The Children's Center at Valley View
The Children’s Center at Valley View officially opened its doors to 11 students on February 3rd. The new preschool, housed in the AMHA building at Valley View, is off to a terrific start! Currently CCVV is serving 3 to 5 year-old students in a blended classroom environment. A play-based, individualized learning approach has been implemented to ensure each child’s individual needs are assessed and met. The children have become fast friends and have been diving into art and science focused projects. So far, the fun has included home-made Valentine’s Day slime and snow, painting projects and beaded friendship bracelets…just to name a few! The playground has seen lots of action, outdoor large motor play has been a part of the daily schedule. A healthy breakfast and lunch are served each day. The kids enjoy family-style meals together and pizza Fridays have become a fast favorite amongst everyone! Currently enrolled CCVV student Fall Registration is coming soon, followed by open enrollment to new families. Registration will be limited.
